Job Description:

The Field Interface Lead is the primary operational liaison between the client, Turra Management/Administration, and the Turra contractor workforce. The role shares time across two site locations (LNG Plant and HGC Plant) and ensures safe, efficient, and consistent coordination of field maintenance activities through workforce support, safety leadership, competency compliance, logistics, and operational communications.


Key Responsibilities


Workforce Interface and Issue Resolution

  • Serve as the main point of contact between Turra field personnel and Turra Management/HR
  • Address and resolve day-to-day personnel issues raised by field staff
  • Communicate company expectations, site policies, and procedural updates
  • Support conflict resolution and escalate issues when necessary

Safety Leadership

  • Act as Safety Field Lead for all Turra contractor personnel
  • Promote the client's safety culture and ensure adherence to PSMS
  • Participate in PTBs, V&V activities, and provide coaching and continuous improvement on disciplined PSMS use
  • Assist with incident reporting, documentation quality, and follow-up actions
  • Encourage proactive hazard identification and safe work behaviours

Logistics and Supply Coordination

  • Ensure availability of essential supplies and logistics required for field operations
  • Maintain readiness of standard PPE for all Turra personnel

Competency and Certification Tracking

  • Verify all personnel requiring certifications hold current and valid credentials (Crane Operators, Riggers, Scaffold Builders, Forklift Operators)
  • Ensure competency verification assessments are completed before expiry to prevent work stoppages
  • Liaise with training providers and Turra HR/training teams as required

Operational Interface with Client Maintenance Team

  • Support communication and alignment between Client Maintenance Superintendents and Turra Management/Administration
  • Facilitate daily coordination of work plans, schedule adjustments, and field execution requirements
  • Ensure Turra resources are deployed effectively to meet client maintenance priorities
  • Escalate execution barriers and support timely resolution

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • 10 or more years of experience in maintenance, construction, or industrial field operations
  • Demonstrated experience managing or coordinating contractor workforces
  • Strong safety leadership background with working knowledge of PSMS or equivalent frameworks
  • Experience verifying competency requirements for high-risk trades including crane operation, rigging, scaffolding, and forklift operation
  • Has coordinated field logistics including PPE supply management and resource readiness
  • Experience facilitating daily operational communications between field teams and management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work independently and manage competing priorities in a field environment
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills with a track record of building positive relationships across diverse teams
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to safety and operational excellence
  • Proactive, organised, and detail-oriented
  • Experience in logistics coordination is an advantage
